First Female Nigerian Military Pilot – Blessing Liman

Her name is Blessing Liman. The 25-year-old lady from Kaduna State made history by becoming Nigeria’s first female military pilot, after completing the Direct Short Service Course 2010/11 Cadets of 325 Ground Training Group at the NAF Base, Kaduna. She was commissioned over the weekend by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).

“To survive the harsh economic climate abroad, Nigerians now beg their relations at home to send money to them. This is what I have seen, this is what I have heard, and it is as bad as that,” The Director-General (DG), Budget Office of the Nigerian Federation, Dr Bright Okogu said during a press briefing yesterday.
